Romantic Valentine's Dinner

By special request Westport Winery has created three four-course Valentine’s Dinners. Guests may select between Sunday, February 12, Monday, February 13, or Tuesday, February 14 at 6:00 p.m. for a celebration with their sweetheart.

 

The first course features a bay shrimp cocktail parfait along with the winery’s signature oat rolls. The second course is a Caesar salad with brown butter croutons on seasonal greens topped with a parmesan tuiles.

 

For their entrée, guests may choose between the winery’s stuffed prawns, topped with local Dungeness crab and Tillamook smoked white cheddar with black pepper or their unique beef Washington under a puff pastry dome with caramelized onions,. Both entrees will be accompanied by garlic rosemary mashed potatoes and sesame seared vegetables. (Guests need to make the choice between entrees at the time of reservation.)

 

As is befitting Valentine’s Day the final course is all about decadence as each couple is offered a sampler plate from the winery’s bakery that includes their white Riesling cake, chocolate stout cake, lemon cake, and trail mix carrot cake. Guests can end this special evening at the winery with coffee or tea. Red roses will be sent home with each couple.

The cost for this elegant dinner is $35 per person. Reservations and prepayment are required and can be made by calling Westport Winery at 360-648-2224. Westport Winery and Vineyards By-the-Sea with the outdoor sculpture garden, is located on the corner of Highway 105 and South Arbor Road halfway between Aberdeen and Westport.

The winery’s Farm to Fork restaurant is open for lunch daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (and until 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday). Dinner is offered on Friday and Saturday from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. and reservations are recommended. The winery’s bakery, tasting bar, and gift shop is open daily at 11 a.m.

Montezuma's Revenge Mystery Dinner

Someone's going to die at at the 1979 graduation from Montezuma's Beauty Academy. Will you be the detective to discover the culprit or will you be the victim? Join the action on Sunday, February 19 at 6pm. The price to attend this hilarious evening is $35 per person. Guests who want to "act" need to notify the winery when they make their reservation to get a list of characters. All guests are encouraged to participate and dress in costume if desired. The event is set in a 1970s Mexican restaurant.

Destination Frankfurt Culinary Class

On Sunday, February 26, from 3–5pm join our Destination Frankfurt culinary class. The class fee $30 per person or $25 for wine club members, all ages welcome, and reservations are required. Enjoy a five course German meal with recipes, instruction, tasting, and wine pairing with the winery’s chef.

You will love the Bar None Baking Culinary Class with celebrity chef Eva Roberts of Spokane's Just American Desserts on Sunday, March 18, from 3–5pm.

Treat your family to Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8, at either 11am or 2pm.The menu includes Cranberry Almond Scones, Fresh Fruit Salad with Honey Mint Sauce, Benedictine Quiche with Hollandaise Sauce, Baked French Toast with Pecan Streusel, Roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes, Apple Pork Link Sausages, and Frozen Raspberry Velvet Pie on a Chocolate Cookie Crust with Chantilly Cream. A glass of fruit juice or Sparkling Sea Breeze wine cocktail, and coffee or tea, are included in the $25 price.
